Sartorius Stedim Data Analytics (SSDA) invites to a webinar on new technology in SIMCA® 15 and SIMCA®-online 15 for batches with recurring phases

In this webinar technology in SIMCA® 15 and SIMCA®-online 15 for batches with recurring phases is introduced.

We envision three use-cases where this new support for recurring phases will come into play. For the first two of these use-cases, the common scenario is that a batch is divided into sub-parts, or sub-batches, which are separately processed. When such sub-division occurs, the sub-batches can be processed in parallel in different process units (use-case no 1), or in series in the same process unit (use-case no 2).

Another, but related situation, occurs when the full batch is processed in one phase more than once (use-case no 3). This may, for instance, arise after an intermediate QC step where failure to comply with QC-specifications is detected. Such failure, or, other type of processing failure, would lead to the full batch entering into a rework stage. From a data-analytical point of view, this last use-case resembles the situation with sub-batches in the sense that the solution is based on SIMCA/SIMCA-online being able to handle recurring phases.

Attend this webinar to understand how to accomplish batch modeling and monitoring when there are sub-batches within a batch.

More specifically, in this webinar we will cover:
- Data import and configuring of IDs (batch, phase and phase-iteration IDs)
- Editing a Batch Evolution Model (BEM) workset
- Calculating a Batch Evolution Model (BEM)
- Using the BEM and making predictions for new batches
- Calculating a Batch Level Model (BLM) to compare completed batches
- Calculating a Batch Level Model (BLM) to compare phase iterations
