VIP for OPLS and O2PLS in SIMCA^®-Q 32-bit occasionally missing (Q872)

Summary:

For OPLS and O2PLS models the different VIP-vectors are sometimes not calculated in the 32-bit version. This means that occasionally you may get empty vectors. When the vectors are calculated, the results are correct.

The vectors are:VIP (total), VIP predictive, VIP orthogonal, VIPcv, VIPcvSE and contributions weighted by VIP.

In the 64-bit version the vectors are always calculated.

Workaround:

If possible, run the 64-bit version.

Status:

Fixed in SIMCA^®-Q 14.1.1.
