Phase models incorrect after adding dataset with same batches (Q900)

Summary:

When creating a model containing two or more datasets with the same variables and the same batches but different phases, SIMCA^® assigns observations incorrectly if the datasets were imported at different time points. Key here is that one or more of the datasets were imported after the initial import/creation of the project.

Symptoms:

The number of included observations in the respective phase models is incorrect.

Resolution:

Fixed in SIMCA^® 15.0.1, released May 22.

Workaround:

There is a workaround: Merge the datasets. Disadvantage: your already created models will be deleted.
