OPLS model is incorrect when S equals 0 for a OPLS orthogonal component (Q745)
The information in this article applies to:
SIMCA® 13
Symptoms:
When R2(com) progression is different from R2Y(cum), the Summary of fit plot and predictions are incorrect.
Workaround:
If you are running a 64-bit SIMCA®, you can try installing the 32-bit SIMCA® and recalculate the model.
Status:
This was fixed in 13.0.1.
More Information:
It is extremely unlikely that this happens. For OPLS models with 1+x+0 components, R2(cum) progression is displayed in the Summary of Fit plot and Model Window (in the R2(cum) column). R2Y(cum) is displayed in the Project Window.
