Opening investigation with inclusions from MODDE 10 crashes MODDE 11 (Q852)

The information in this article applies to: 

Investigations with inclusions, created in MODDE 10.x, cannot be opened in MODDE 11 without crashing.


Import the .mip by clicking File | New | Import external design.

Here it is important to specify constraints, if present in the original investigation, as follows;

  1. On the second page of the wizard, the Define factors page, select the Place constraints on the experimental region check box.
  2. On the third page, specify the constraints.

Fixed in MODDE 12.

More Information: 

Only the worksheet is imported when importing a .mip. This means that editing the model, excluding rows etc. need to be redone.
