Multiple file import problems (Q744)

The information in this article applies to:

SIMCA^® 13

Symptoms:

When importing too many files at once, for instance SPC-files, a message is displayed "The file could not be opened. No further information available.".

Workaround:

Import the files in subsets. Start with a subset of for instance 100.

Status:

This was fixed in 13.0.1.

More Information:

With OS Windows XP, this works fine.
