SIMCA 14.1 now released
MKS Umetrics announces the release of SIMCA 14.1, a minor upgrade of SIMCA 14. This release also includes seamless integration to SIMCA-online 14 for model maintenance and increased scripting capabilities.
SIMCA 14.1 is a targeted release designed to empower SIMCA-online 14 (to be released in December 2015).
Some of the updates for the batch modeler are:
- An efficient batch model complement
- Automation of batch model building using scripting
- The ability to include batches at batch summary level that are not in batch evolution level
The highly appreciated ability to script workflows in SIMCA has been extended and now includes SIMCA functionality such as hierarchical modelling, batch level dataset creation and more workset functions. Furthermore, it is now possible to send out data to Python, perform calculations and import the pre-treated data.
Plot improvements include a new dimension to SIMCA's contribution plots – color by univariate deviation. Parameters deviating more than three standard deviations in raw data are indicated in a different color. In addition, the dot plot introduced in SIMCA 14 is now sorted by classes to give a cleaner impression and more confidence in judging discriminant parameters.
