Small values incorrectly converted to 0 (Q778)

Symptoms:

Values smaller than +0.000001 are displayed as 0 independent ofrange for that column.

Cause:

The range for the column was not correctly investigated.

Status:

This was fixed in SIMCA^® 14.

More Information:

There is a function in SIMCA^® which displays 0 for values smaller than 0.000001 (1E-06)in plots and lists when such small values represent rounding error, that is, when the '1' in0.000001 represents the 7th significant digit. But after triggering the replacement, all values smaller than +0.000001 are presented as '0' in the columns that follow.
