Date_time variable rounding (Q864)

Summary:

When a variable is imported as Date/Time in SIMCA^®, the entire date and time is converted to a float value using 32-bit precision. When converting this value back to date and time, the displayed value is sometimes not exactly as in the original file. Differences of 1 second are not unusual.

Status:

Fixed in SIMCA^® 14.1.

More Information:

This imprecision may cause small differences in Q2 and other vectors, but these differences are generally not large enough to influence the interpretations.
