Summary:
The plugin named 'Average Observations' conducts a simple reduction of your dataset, based on averaging selected observations. Please note that secondary datasets cannot be imported after applying this filter. Note: This spectral filter plugin is not supported for SIMCA® 64-bit.

To download the plugin linked below, extract the .exe and .dll-files and install as follows:
- Run the .exe-file and follow the instructions in the installation program.
- Start SIMCA®.
- In File | SIMCA® Options, tab More Options, you will find the path of the default plugin directory. This directory can be changed, as needed.
- Add the appropriate .dll in the plugin directory and re-start SIMCA®. After installation the filter is available by clicking Spectral Filters in the Modify Dataset group on the Data tab. NOTE! This is not a spectral filter but can be accessed from that menu. This feature is available for the SIMCA® 32-bit version ONLY and has been tested under Windows 7, Vista, and XP for a few datasets. The .dll has not been validated. In SIMCA®-P+ 12, the plugin directory is found by clicking View | General Options and Spectral Filters is available under the Dataset menu.
